Health is more than health care. It is also a product of social factors, including educational attainment, income, race or ethnicity, and neighborhood environment. Thus, health inequities are one aspect of broader inequalities, and attaining health equity will require addressing larger social and economic factors. The panelists will discuss how they are applying this perspective in their work, what they have accomplished, and their thoughts about what it takes to achieve an inclusive society.
