As the incoming leader of the P.A.C.E. program, Kindley Walsh Lawlor will be supporting the program’s expansion to reach one million women globally by the end of 2020.
Walsh Lawlor has been with Gap Inc. for over 18 years, working first in garment production, and then with the Sustainability team.
Walsh Lawlor is the US buyer representative on the International Labour Organization’s Better Work Advisory Committee. She has held past advisory roles with academic partners and collaborative initiatives focused on worker rights. Walsh Lawlor also regularly advises smaller, artisan companies. In 2015 she was recognized as one of the Bay Area’s Most Influential Women by the SF Business Times, and as one of the National Retail Federation’s list of people shaping retail’s future in the Giver category.
Walsh Lawlor graduated with a degree in apparel design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, NY, and resides in San Francisco.
